In 2021, I used Dean Popoli of Empire Reality Group in Rochester, NY, to purchase my first home.

There are copious reasons why I felt that I did not have adequate representation and support as a first-time homebuyer. I also feel like he took advantage of my naivety.

Based on my experience, I can not recommend Dean Popoli as a realtor.

Additionally, I recommend ensuring that your real estate agent is not engaged in Dual Agency, as this was a complicating factor in my dealings with Dean.

2024 Update: 3 years after closing on the house and a week does not go by where I am happy to own this property.
